Ingredients
- 2 cups watermelon chunks
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp gin
Instructions
- Start by removing the skin from the watermelon and cutting it into small chunks.
- Use a blender to puree the watermelon until smooth. Strain through a sieve to remove any solids.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the watermelon juice, maple syrup, lime juice, and gin. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-proof dish and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Every hour, remove the granita from the freezer and use a whisk to break up the larger chunks of ice into smaller crystals.
- Once fully frozen, scrape off servings with a spoon or fork.
