Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons MarketSpice cinnamon-orange black tea
- 1 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz reposado tequila
- 1 1/2 oz apple juice, chilled
- 1 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 oz rich demerara syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Old Fashioned bitters or aromatic bitters
- 2 oz club soda, chilled
- Apple slice for garnish
- Cinnamon for garnish
- Nutmeg for garnish
Instructions
- Place apple slices and cinnamon sticks in a plastic container filled with water and freeze until solid, at least 24 hours prior to serving.
- Infuse the tea with vermouth for 90 minutes, then strain and refrigerate.
- In a punch bowl, mix the tea-infused vermouth, tequila, apple juice, lemon juice, demerara syrup, and both bitters.
- Add club soda to the punch bowl and stir gently.
- Carefully add the prepared ice block to the punch bowl and garnish with apple slices, freshly grated cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Serve in punch cups or mugs, and garnish each glass with an apple slice and cinnamon stick, if desired.
