Ingredients

  • 2 oz Light Rum
  • 0.75 oz Lime Juice
  • 0.33 oz Grenadine
  • 1 Maraschino cherry

Instructions

  1. Prepare a maraschino cherry for garnishing and lime for squeezing.
  2. Fill a martini glass and a shaker with cubed ice.
  3. Pour the light rum, lime juice, and grenadine into the shaker.
  4. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 7 seconds.
  5. Empty the ice from the martini glass back into the ice bucket.
  6. Remove the top of the shaker and strain the mix into the martini glass.
  7. Garnish with the prepared cherry.
