Ingredients

  • 2 ripe peaches, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons superfine sugar
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine, chilled
  • 0.50 cups brandy
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
  • Sparkling water, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the chopped peaches and raspberries, then sprinkle them lightly with sugar. Stir and let the fruit sit at room temperature for 1 hour to macerate.
  2. Add the chilled white wine, brandy, remaining sugar, mint leaves (if using), and lemon rounds to the pitcher. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Fill glasses with ice, pour the sangria over the ice, and top each glass with a splash of sparkling water.
  4. Optionally, use skewers to garnish the glasses with additional fruit.
