Summer Peach and Raspberry Sangria
A refreshing and light sangria made with ripe peaches, sweet raspberries, dry white wine, and a splash of brandy, perfect for summer entertaining.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and coarsely chopped
- 1 cup raspberries
- 3 tablespoons superfine sugar
- 1 (750 ml) bottle dry white wine, chilled
- 0.50 cups brandy
- 1 handful fresh mint leaves (optional)
- 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
- Sparkling water, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the chopped peaches and raspberries, then sprinkle them lightly with sugar. Stir and let the fruit sit at room temperature for 1 hour to macerate.
- Add the chilled white wine, brandy, remaining sugar, mint leaves (if using), and lemon rounds to the pitcher. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Fill glasses with ice, pour the sangria over the ice, and top each glass with a splash of sparkling water.
