Ingredients
- 1 slice of lime
- 1 slice of lemon
- 1/4 cup chopped green apple
- 1/2 peach, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 1/2 tbsp brandy or Grand Marnier
- 5 oz dry crisp white wine (Albariño recommended)
- 1-3 tsp maple syrup, agave, simple syrup, or cane sugar (adjust to taste)
- Sparkling water (optional)
- Fresh mint and strawberries for garnish (optional)
- Ice or frozen berries
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine the chopped fruit.
- Pour in the brandy and white wine, then stir to combine.
- Taste and add sweetener as desired, starting with 1 teaspoon at a time.
- Chill the pitcher in the fridge for at least 1-4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, stir the sangria and pour over ice or frozen berries in a glass.
- Optionally, top with sparkling water and garnish with fresh mint and strawberries.
