Ingredients

  • 1 slice of lime
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • 1/4 cup chopped green apple
  • 1/2 peach, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brandy or Grand Marnier
  • 5 oz dry crisp white wine (Albariño recommended)
  • 1-3 tsp maple syrup, agave, simple syrup, or cane sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Sparkling water (optional)
  • Fresh mint and strawberries for garnish (optional)
  • Ice or frozen berries

Instructions

  1. In a pitcher, combine the chopped fruit.
  2. Pour in the brandy and white wine, then stir to combine.
  3. Taste and add sweetener as desired, starting with 1 teaspoon at a time.
  4. Chill the pitcher in the fridge for at least 1-4 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, stir the sangria and pour over ice or frozen berries in a glass.
  6. Optionally, top with sparkling water and garnish with fresh mint and strawberries.
