Ingredients
- 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 8 mint leaves
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 ounce white rum (e.g. Bacardi)
- 1/2 ounce coconut rum (e.g. Malibu)
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 3/4 cup ice cubes
- Club soda
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Fresh pomegranate arils or fresh cranberries (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker or a sturdy glass, mix sugar, mint leaves, and lime juice.
- Use a muddler to gently crush the ingredients to release the mint oils.
