Rumchata Nutmeg Delight

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg yolk
- 3/4 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 oz RumChata
- Cinnamon stick, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine cinnamon and sugar on a shallow plate for the cinnamon-sugar rim. Moisten the rim of the glass with water and dip into the cinnamon sugar. Set aside.
- In a saucepan, whisk egg yolks and sugar. Add milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla, then heat over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in heavy cream and RumChata. Refrigerate until chilled.
- When ready to serve, pour into a glass and sprinkle with additional nutmeg. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
