Mezcal Smoke and Citrus
A refreshing twist on the classic Corpse Reviver cocktail, the Mezcal Smoke and Citrus features smoky mezcal, Cocchi Americano, Curaçao, and a delightful blend of lime and grapefruit juices.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Cocchi Americano
- 3/4 oz mezcal (preferably El Buho)
- 3/4 oz Curaçao (preferably Pierre Ferrand Dry)
- 1/4 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
- 1 bar spoon absinthe (for rinse, preferably St. George Absinthe Verte)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice, combine mezcal, Cocchi Americano, Curaçao, lime juice, and grapefruit juice.
- Shake the mixture until chilled, about 30 seconds.
- Coat the inside of a chilled coupe glass with the absinthe.
- Pour out any excess absinthe.
- Strain the contents of the mixing glass into the coupe.
