Ingredients

  • 1 oz Cocchi Americano
  • 3/4 oz mezcal (preferably El Buho)
  • 3/4 oz Curaçao (preferably Pierre Ferrand Dry)
  • 1/4 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 bar spoon absinthe (for rinse, preferably St. George Absinthe Verte)

Instructions

  1. In a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice, combine mezcal, Cocchi Americano, Curaçao, lime juice, and grapefruit juice.
  2. Shake the mixture until chilled, about 30 seconds.
  3. Coat the inside of a chilled coupe glass with the absinthe.
  4. Pour out any excess absinthe.
  5. Strain the contents of the mixing glass into the coupe.
