Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces aged rum
- 1/2 ounce orange liqueur
- 1/2 ounce pure maple syrup
- 1 whole egg
- Ice
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Grated fresh nutmeg, for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the aged rum, orange liqueur, maple syrup, and egg.
- Cover the shaker and shake vigorously until the mixture starts to emulsify, for about 45 seconds.
- Add ice and the sprig of rosemary to the shaker.
- Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosted, for about 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a glass.
- Garnish with grated fresh nutmeg.
