Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup canned Alphonso mango pulp (sweetened)
  • 1/2 cup plain or natural yogurt (no-sugar added)
  • 1/4 cup milk (full cream or light)
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 1/2 oz white rum (omit for non-alcoholic)
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur (omit for non-alcoholic)
  • Sugar (optional, to taste)
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • Saffron chili threads
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the Alphonso mango pulp, yogurt, milk, ground cardamom, white rum, and orange liqueur.
  2. Blend for 20 seconds, then taste and adjust sweetness with sugar if desired.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more milk and blend for another 10 seconds.
  4. Serve the Mango Lassi Cocktail over ice or blend in some ice for extra chill.
  5. Garnish with a sprinkle of cardamom and saffron chili threads.
