Ingredients
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup whiskey
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1-2 tsp. hot chocolate powder
- 1/3 tsp. instant espresso or coffee powder
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 3 tablespoons of milk with cornstarch until smooth.
- Add enough milk to make up a cup, then heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until very thick and bubbling.
- Remove from heat and scrape the thickened milk into a blender.
- Add sweetened condensed milk, whiskey, vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of hot chocolate powder, and espresso powder.
- Blend until well mixed. Taste and add more hot chocolate powder if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a container with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate until serving.
