Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • 3 tbsp half and half
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 oz Spiced Rum
  • 1/2 oz Brandy
  • 1/2 oz Bourbon
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolk and sugar until thick and pale.
  2. Combine the heavy cream, whole milk, half and half, vanilla extract, rum, brandy, and bourbon in a pitcher.
  3. Gradually pour the liquid into the mixing bowl while whisking on low speed, then increase to medium-low until just combined.
  4. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure thorough mixing.
  5. Stir in the nutmeg and pour the eggnog into a glass.
  6. Refrigerate for at least two weeks before serving.
