Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar (can substitute with low carb sweetener)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 rosemary twig
  • Sparkling water
  • 2 tbsp cranberry juice
  • 1/2 oz cranberry rosemary syrup
  • 1/2 oz pure orange juice (can substitute with lemon juice)
  • 1 rosemary twig for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, coconut sugar, water, and rosemary.
  2. Bring the mixture to a mild simmer, stirring occasionally, and cook for 7 minutes until the cranberries have popped and the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, discarding the solids.
  4. In a pitcher, stir together cranberry rosemary syrup, cranberry juice, and orange juice.
  5. Place a few ice cubes in a glass and pour the cranberry mixture equally into 1 serving glass.
  6. Fill the glass with sparkling water.
  7. Garnish with fresh rosemary and cranberries. Serve immediately.
