Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cranberries
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 oz. red wine (I used a red blend)
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1 tablespoon cranberry syrup
- 1 tablespoon bourbon (optional, but delicious)
- 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 apple, diced
- Lime LaCroix sparkling water
- Fresh rosemary sprig or cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small pot over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, and water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until cranberries are softened.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a medium bowl and let the syrup cool.
- In a pitcher, combine red wine, apple cider, cranberry syrup, bourbon, cranberries, and diced apple.
- Serve immediately over ice, filling about 3/4 full, and then top with Lime LaCroix sparkling water.
- Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig or a cinnamon stick.
