Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Earl Grey tea leaves
- 2 oz hot water
- 1 large orange slice
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Sugar
- 1 oz Blackberry Shrub with Vanilla and Earl Grey
- Soda water to top or to taste (I used Fever-Tree Club Soda)
Instructions
- Brew the Earl Grey tea and set it aside.
- Fill a rocks glass with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the orange slice and sugar until the sugar is mostly dissolved, and the orange has released its juices.
- Add the brewed tea and blackberry shrub to the shaker, then top with ice.
- Shake the mixture well until the shaker becomes very cold and starts to sweat.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, then top it with club soda.
- Garnish as desired with an orange wedge, slice, or edible flowers.
