Ingredients
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 (3.2 ounce) bars Chocolove 70% dark chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 1/2 ounce creme de cacao
- 1 1/2 ounces dark chocolate fudge sauce, plus extra for drizzling inside the glass
- 3 tablespoons chocolate malt powder
- 2 ounces half and half
- Dash of chocolate bitters
- Crushed chocolate malted milk balls for rimming the glass
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate fudge sauce by combining heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, and half of the chocolate in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the chocolate has melted. Remove from heat and add remaining chocolate, butter, and vanilla. Stir until all chocolate has melted, then set aside to cool.
- Rim the glass by coating it with the chocolate fudge sauce and then crushed malted milk balls. Drizzle some chocolate fudge sauce inside the glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, creme de cacao, chocolate fudge sauce, chocolate malt powder, half and half, and chocolate bitters with a few ice cubes. Shake for 20-30 seconds.
- Pour the cocktail into the prepared glass and enjoy!
