Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin (Caorunn recommended)
  • 3/4 oz Aperol
  • 3/4 oz Carpano Antica Formula sweet vermouth
  • 3 drops Bittermens hopped grapefruit bitters
  • A pinch of salt
  • Garnish: orange peel
  • Garnish: grapefruit peel

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender with a handful of crushed ice.
  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  3. Pour the blended cocktail into a double rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with one peel each of orange and grapefruit, placed in the shape of an X to honor Scotland's flag.
