Ingredients
- 1 lime (quartered)
- 5 basil leaves, torn
- 5 mint leaves, torn
- 1.50 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup white rum
- Extra basil and mint sprigs for garnish
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup club soda
Instructions
- Squeeze the juice of lime quarters into a shaker and toss them in.
- Add torn basil leaves, torn mint leaves, and sugar, then muddle them together to extract the lime juice and release the herb oils.
- Pour in the white rum, cover, and shake well.
- Place some basil and mint sprigs into a glass and pack it with ice cubes.
- Pour the rum mixture into the glass.
